Title: Blackfoot Spirit Dance
Found this huge Brazilian Cecropia leaf on the ground at the Naples Botanical Gardens, Naples, FL., suffering from frostbite after a prolonged cold spell blasted Florida in early 2010. I was able to bend the large tropical leaf into its current position without breaking it, added dead ferns for feathers and a “medicine stick” for effect. The eyes holes were added to the dance mask for impact.
